The Public Health Agency of Canada launched a P damage Vaccine Support Program (VISP) for severe and permanent injury resulting from a Health Canada -approved vaccine.
Federal Officials launched the program on Tuesday, saying it was designed to give injured people from a vaccine “fair and timely” access to financial support.
The program will also be available to trustees of Canadians who have died after being vaccinated.

Eligibility for vaccines issued in Canada on or after December 8, 2020.
Claims may be filed within three years after the vaccination date, date of death or the date when an injury is found.
