Some Facebook users are now reporting being sent warning messages from the social media giant in connection with “extremists” or “extremist content.”
“Are you worried that someone you know has become an extremist?”A message read.
“We are concerned about curbing extremism on Facebook. Some in your situation have received confidential support.”
The message also provides a “Get Support” button, which leads to another Facebook page about extremism.
Redstate editor Kira Davis, who said she sent a screenshot of the message from a friend, wrote: “Hey someone popped up this message on their FB? My friend (who is not an ideologist but hosts many competing speeches) received this message twice. He was very confused. ”

And some are reporting take a warning that they may have been “exposed to the destructive extremist situation recently.” The message says “violent groups will try to manipulate your anger and frustration,” both offering a “Get Support” option. READ MORE
