WHO Quietly Editing the Page Against Vaccination of Children

The World Health Organization (WHO) has updated its website on Tuesday, taking a title read “Children should not be vaccinated at this time.”

the latest archive on the Wayback Machine page, accessed June 22, 2021 16:49:39 GMT, includes additional information showing “There is still insufficient evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to provide recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19.”

the updated page says that while “More evidence is still needed on the use of different COVID-19 vaccines in children to be able to make general recommendations for immunization in children,” The WHO “Concluded that the Pfizer / BionTech vaccine should be used for people 12 years of age and older.”

On Monday, the Ron Paul Institute published an article by Adam Dick that drew attention to the fact that the WHO recommended not to vaccinate children on their website. On Monday and Tuesday, screenshots of the section of the said website were shared on social media. It is reasonable to conclude that WHO edited their website in response to this past and unexpected attention.

Approved by Wayback Machine’s archive, the WHO vaccine advice page was unchanged from the first archive on April 8, 2021 until the change on June 22.

Also on Tuesday, social media users were punished for sharing screenshots on the WHO website, prior to the change.
