COVID-19: Abu Dhabi issues reminder on home quarantine for those with positive case contact


Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, in collaboration with the Department of Health (DoH) – Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, have issued a reminder on home quarantine instructions for those in contact positive case of coronavirus, to protect the health and safety of all members of the community.

Vaccinated individuals must spend five days in quarantine. They should take a PCR test on Day Four and may have the pulse removed on Day Five if they receive a negative test result. Those without the vaccine should be quarantined for ten days. They must take a PCR test on Day Eight and may have the pulse removed on Day Ten if they receive a negative test result.

Everyone who registers for home quarantine can take a free walk-in PCR test and remove the pulse at the Mina Zayed Center, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Convention Center and Al Dhafra Hospital.

The committee also urged all community members who suspect they have contacted an infected individual to isolate themselves to protect the health and safety of their family members.
