President Joe Biden argued that black entrepreneurs need more help from the federal government because many do not have accountants or lawyers.
“The data shows young black entrepreneurs are just as capable of thriving, given opportunities, as white entrepreneurs, but they don’t have lawyers, they don’t have accountants, but they have a lot of ideas,” Biden said. SAYS.
The president spoke on behalf of black business owners in a speech marking the 100th anniversary of the Greenwood Race Massacre in Tulsa.
Biden said he will focus more on small business loans to help black businesses grow.
He also announced that the federal government would use more of its purchasing power to support non-profit businesses including those owned by “black and coffee” Americans. READ MORE
