Si Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) On Monday was taken to the podium on Capitol Hill to criticize the media and Anthony Fauci Dr. for spreading beliefs about COVID, and for their role in causing unnecessary death by politicizing environmental science Covid vaccines and treatments.
“We have Dr. Fauci spreading mistruths all over the country, saying we should be forced to vaccinate children,” Paul said. “There’s no science behind any of that.”
Paul accused CNN and others of misleading the public on several COVID -related issues, including the need to vaccinate children:
“For example, one fact you can’t tell is an 85-year-old has 10,000 times greater chance to death [from COVID] than 10-years-old. Now you think we should treat them equally. If you were their doctor, do you think a 10-year-old should get the same health care and same prescriptions for what they should do as an 85-year-old? There is no reason. ”
The NY Times corrected the article by saying that nearly 900,000 children are hospitalized in the U.S. when the actual number is 63,000+ op-ed cited data showing that the underweight child has a small risk of being infected w / virus than a fully vaccinated 70-year-old.https://t.co/xXWqNBxyLe

Paul, who said he refuses to get the COVID vaccine because he already has the virus, and has natural resistance, an outspoken critic of Fauci and the Biden administration for their handling of the pandemic.
Paul told the U.S. Senate on Monday it was time to stop censoring people just for asking about COVID policies, and return to the ideas of classical liberalism, where “we debate things. “
“But if you’re a collective and you believe that from the top, all medical decisions are from Dr. Fauci and if he doesn’t want you to fly, you can’t fly… if an airline has a policy of not i like, maybe i choose not to fly.Even though the idea that we limit everyone’s behavior is in line with what they decide to do, what’s next?
“People eat a lot of cheeseburgers. We didn’t give them a heart stent because we thought they weren’t behaving and they weren’t listening to the doctors about what they were supposed to eat. There is no end to it. ”
