France Warns Obama State Department About Wuhan Lab in 2015: Former US Official

In 2015, French intelligence officials warned the Obama State Department that China ‘reduces agreed lab collaboration’ – which helped France to establish that there is an understanding that the two countries will work together.

Come 2017, France was ‘expelled’ from the lab, and cooperation ceased, leading French officials to once again warn the U.S. State Department of ‘serious concern’ about China’s motives, former State official David Asher spoke to Daily Calling.

The State Department kuno in January 2021, at the end of the Trump administration, that Wuhan lab has been conducting classified research for China’s military from at least 2017.

The State Department did not respond to a request for comment by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

On Thursday, China said it would not allow the World Health Organization to further examine the lab. China has blocked the WHO from accessing vital lab records. -DCNF

“The Chinese often suck the State into the operation of this honey pot to get U.S. technology, knowledge, and material support. Classic. As they have done in every sector,” Asher said.

ACCORDING at USAID, the U.S. Agency for International Development provided $ 1.1 million to the U.S.-based NGO EcoHealth Alliance for a sub-agreement with the Wuhan Institute of Virology- on top of millions received from the Department of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and a $ 600,000 annual grant from the National Institutes of Health by Drs. Anthony Fauci.

In short, after the Obama administration stopped Gain-of-Function research, U.S. entities released money through EcoHealth to keep it going, despite France’s warning.

According to Asher, the NIH, DoD and USAID should have stopped federal funding in 2015.

France GIVEN the lab design, biosafety training, and most of its technology.

The French envision the Wuhan institution as an open and transparent lab that will serve the global scientific community to study potential pandemics, according to a State Department cable in April 2018, a Wuhan -based French consulate official working on China’s science and technology cooperation was quoted.

While leading French politicians supported the collaboration, Security in France and defense experts nothing, the French newspaper Le Figaro reports.

National security officials do not want to share sensitive technology with an oppressive non -ally country and they fear the lab could one day be turned into a “biological arsenal,” Le Figaro agreed.

Meanwhile, the State Department under Hillary Clinton expressed concerns about the Wuhan Lab -and asked France if they knew how China plans to secure future foreign researchers to avoid technology theft in countries with growth concerns, as WikiLeaks.
