Ariana Grande Celebrates The End Of The Lockdown With A ‘Hairpray’ Parody

In the face of the pandemic, things are looking up. People were vaccinated and because of this, the country and the world began to open up. In celebration of that, Ariana Grande joined James Corden in The Last Appearance for a pandemic theme Hair repair parody. The number, a rework of “Good Morning Baltimore,” was filmed in a high-production, set musical style and features new lyrics about vaccinations, also connecting with loved ones, and enjoying life in ways that we haven’t done that recently. .

Ahead of the show, Grande shared some photos from making the sketch and wrote, “have fun my friend @j_corden! Tune in tonight @latelateshow 12:37 on CBS for our skit. #LateLateShow ps maybe yet with an even more special, heart attack waking cameo made by a Tony Award winning, my friend!

That cameo, by the way, was Marissa Jaret Winokur, who won a Tony for her role as Tracy Turnblad in the original Broadway production of Hair repair. Winokur shared a photo of herself with Grande and Corden and wrote, “It’s not about the shoes but it’s also NOT about the shoes Tune in tonight I’m at a special event.”
